The Area

Moraira is an attractive unspoilt town with a modern marina and an attractive old castle. At the foot of the castle is Moraira's most popular beach - L'Ampolla. The coastline extends for 8 kilometres with fine sandy beaches (all of which display the EEC blue flag of cleanliness), and occasional rocky inlets - providing perfect locations for sunbathing, scuba-diving, wind surfing and other water sports. You can also enjoy cliff walks with unforgettable views or a drive in the nearby spectacular mountains.

Transport

Moraira is an hour's drive from either Alicante or Valencia airports, and only 40 minutes' from Benidorm with theme-,animal-and water-parks such as Terra Mitica and Aqualandia. Road connections are very good, there are local buses, a rail service to Valencia and Benidorm and many taxi companies. However, to fully appreciate the area we recommend you hire a car - there are several hire cars companies in the area.
